De legendarische cross over band Quicksand speelde in 1994 in Nederland. Voortgekomen uit hardcore formaties Youth of Today en Gorilla Biscuits, leek Quiksand het voor het eerst te gaan maken bij een groot publiek. In dit unieke interview (Quicksand speelde haar laatste optreden helaas op 12 Oktober 1995) hoor je frontman Walter onder andere over popsongs:

"I don't think the songs we write are pop songs or are catchy in that way at all. I think you have to listen to it and get in to it. It has a certain appeal, but not an instant candy-like appeal."
